TEXT ONLY VERSION OF THE FALL 2001 ISSUE (VOLUME XIII - NUMBER 3) OF THE RED NOSE REVIEW.

MINI MCAA - PENSACOLA 2002

Squadron-235 will host the Pensacola event for all Death Angels the weekend of 17-20 January 2002. The Island House Hotel in near-by Orange Beach, Alabama is headquarters for our Winter Gathering. The Island House is an excellent choice. It is Ideally located at the center of activities in Orange Beach and all rooms face directly onto the gulf and the beautiful white beaches. The hotel has an excellent bar and dining room and the staff assures us they will go all out to accommodate us in every way possible.

Trips to the Museum of Naval Aviation and to Trader Jon's are on the itinerary. Golf, fishing, shopping and fine dining is close at hand. Leave the winter cold behind and make your plans now to join us. You may contact The Island House direct at 800-264-2642. Tell them Barbara Walters said to ask for the VMF-235 special.

READY ROOM

The Ready Room is set for the penthouse suite, pictures below, at The Island House Hotel and is scheduled to open for business at 12:00 PM on 17 January 2002. The ready room will consist of two rooms with an extremely fabulous view of the Gulf of Mexico. You should be able to adapt well to these comfortable surroundings. If you have a drink preference, please contact our social chairmen, Hondo or Vince and they will endeavor to please you.

READ & INITIAL

For those that have computers, please visit our website at www.vmf235.com. It offers an abundance of information concerning our activities and Marine Corps Aviation in general. Remember that if you have any photos that you would like to share with us, please send them to Tom O'Rorke. He manages the website and will gladly scan them and return the original to you. If you know a 235 Marine and you don't see his or her name on the roster, would you please clip the application and send it. You would do them a great favor.
