Col. A. H. Adams was MAG-11's Commanding Officer when VMF(AW) 235 arrived at Atsugi in 1963.
The Death Angels deployed a detachment to Cubi Point in late March 1963 and Col. Adams paid a routine visit to fly with our deployed unit. He is seen here on the right being greeted by Lt.Col. Booker, CO, VMF(AW)-235 on his arrival to Cubi.
