In 1960, the 2nd MAW named VMF-235 as Standardization and Training Squadron for all F8 inputs. This is the initial cadre. "Skinny" Lamar (CO), Joe Lynch (XO), "Snake" Lewis, Dick Douglas. Third Row: Louis Erdman, Bud Pafford, Buck Peck, John Kirchner, Vince Falzarano, Duane Newton, Hondo Ondrick.
